==== 2.  Topics covered ====

Announcing the **date for the XRTC annual meeting: August 24 and 25.** \\
Please write to Gary for **registration before 17th August**, and also with any presentation proposals.
The **infrastructure planning sub-group** will be meeting on **Wednesday's (23rd August) afternoon.** \\

Next week the **regular call is cancelled due to NSREC event.**
Those interested to join the XRTC get-together at a restaurant(TBA) dinner on Thursday (July 20) evening, e-mail Gary.

Stephen and Kevin (Boeing) comment about **upcoming test plans**: V-7 DSPs and MGTs. Regarding MGTs, reproducing the test David Lee has done on the UltraScale (using IBERT). Roberto recommends a way for testing the DSPs, using stainless-steel for masking-out other sensitive logic (e.g., clocks) and exposing only a sub-group of DSP columns for test.

Filip expresses it's difficult for TASE employees to attend the annual meeting in August.

Sebastian mentions the **interesting fault-mode signatures found in the V-7 IOSERDES tests**, and asks Roberto to [[ data_analysis:v7-dynamic:201703-tamu:ioserdes:0-raw| check this]] and share his thoughts.
Gary gives a high-level description of the failure modes.
Paul expresses his interest on this.

Roberto comments he recently used **TAMU's new 25MeV/u Ag ion beam**, and asks for others' experience on this; nobody used it so far.

Mike comments on his group's work to be presented by Andrew as a **regular poster at NSREC: dynamic testing on 28nm Altera and Xilinx. Comparing same design on different parts.** \\
Mike also comments on his plans to go back to U. Saska for more laser testing.

Dan announces a new **V-5QV SCD** //(Source Control Drawing)// part available, with **30% savings on static power consumption**.
